“A Song For You”

This is a short post.
I’m not sure who did all the arrangements and instrumentals for Donnie Hathaway’s version of “A Song For You”.
But I want to thank you for it. That song has been on repeat for the last hour or so. I’m particularly loving the flutes. Especially at
“And when my life is over
Remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song for you”.
Each time it gets to that part, each time, my eyes tear up.
I’ve heard the song, but I’m not sure I ever really heard the song before today…

Just thinking about that song makes my eyes tear up. It was played for me for the first time by a special friend. It has been remade countless times, such amazing lyrics.
