New Video: Janet Jackson - Feedback

Uh, I Vote No.

It pains me to say this, but I hate Janet’s new video.

This is from a Janet fan who will defend Damita Jo and 20 YO as good albums, give immediate benefit of the doubt against defaming gossip articles about her. So my devotion is strong.

I love the song. It gets much play in my iPod.

I hate the video. I just hate it! At first, I was like, “Oh, a space-themed video, awesome!” Didn’t like the outfits (the onesie makes her look like a space quarterback), but gave kudos for trying something different.

It’s cereal.

Janet and her crew are pieces of cereal in a box. The box opens, the cereal (and all of them) goes into the milk.

Hmm. Cereal. A for originality? I can’t come up with any defense for it. Janet, you’re on your own, girl.
