In Remembrance

I hope you all had a wonderful Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (’cause you know Lyndon Johnson ain’t getting a day anytime soon).
I hope you made the time to reflect on the great strides that he went through in the fight for equality. I attended a Day of Dialogue held by the City of Tallahassee and it was so inspiring to hear everyone’s opinions, from the elderly white-haired lady who stressed the importance of family in claiming/reclaiming sanity and order in the Black community to the single mother who broke down in tears out of the fear for the success of her Black son to the students who asked what more can we do to make things better.
With hope, one day the dream will be achieved.
