Apprentice Africa
Posted on March 6, 2008
It isn’t often that you get to see the normal “human” side of Africa, so I’m glad that there are shows like this. The Apprentice Africa is modeled after Donald Trump’s American version. Stepping into the Donald’s role is Biodun Shobanjo, the Nigerian advertising mogul often referred to as the “Czar of Advertising”.
I’m so proud and want to share it with you guys. You can read more about the show on their website: http://www.theapprenticeafrica.com

I saw the first clip online of the show and thought it was very well done. The CEO has a lame way of firing people though (why did he fire the project manager?) and should come up with a better catch phrase
Yeah, he’s basically just imitating Donald (”Go.”) I wish I could have seen the entire episode, I’m not sure why he fired the PM.
I think I will stick with what I know. I have a been a fan of Donald’s ‘Apprentice’ and I do not think I want to fool with another version of it. That’s just me…to each his/her own.
Marcus, that’s cool. It’s still an imitation version, but I think it’s a step up in the production qualities of Nigerian/African television. Thanks for your opinion though.
Just to say that apprentice africa has been quite an enjoyable show. I keep a blog of happening her at: Apprentice Africa
