Watching this with a side-eye. It could go either way.

I’m a fan of Family Guy… admittedly I’ve probably seen every episode (thank you Adult Swim) but I dunno about this one.
My heart was a little hurt when I found out that Cleveland was voiced by a white guy. But I guess I should be reassured that Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long and Kevin Michael Richardson have signed on to voice some of the characters? I’m giving Seth McFarlane the benefit of the doubt for, like, three episodes before I make the final judgement. Get the full story here on Yahoo.

Also getting the side eye is Tropic Thunder. Lord knows that Robert Downey Jr is one of my white boy crushes but he’s pushing it with the new age blackface…

Seriously?!?!? I would have lost my rightful mind! I felt so sorry for him, you could see all the emotions from fear/panic/defeat/calm. I wonder if he’s gotten on an elevator since? And SMH at someone putting that “broken elevator” sign up at the end. Ya think?

CCTV:Nicholas White was a thirty-four-year-old production manager at Business Week. He was working late on a special assignment and wanted a cigarette. He told a colleague that he’d be right back and, leaving his jacket behind, headed downstairs. Thus commenced the longest smoke break of Nicholas White’s life, a harrowing experience that began at around eleven o’clock on a Friday night in October, 1999.

The Business Week offices were located on the forty-third floor of the McGraw-Hill Building in mid-town Manhattan. When White finished his cigarette, he returned to the lobby, got into Car No. 30 and pressed the button marked 43. The car accelerated. It was an express elevator, with no stops below the thirty-ninth floor, and the building was deserted. But after a moment, White felt a jolt. The lights went out, immediately flashed on again and then the elevator stopped.

This happened in 1999 but this footage has only recently been made available…

Uh, I Vote No.

It pains me to say this, but I hate Janet’s new video.

This is from a Janet fan who will defend Damita Jo and 20 YO as good albums, give immediate benefit of the doubt against defaming gossip articles about her. So my devotion is strong.

I love the song. It gets much play in my iPod.

I hate the video. I just hate it! At first, I was like, “Oh, a space-themed video, awesome!” Didn’t like the outfits (the onesie makes her look like a space quarterback), but gave kudos for trying something different.

I have a love-hate relationship with Bill O’Reilly.

There’s this morbid fascination to figure out what he is doing or what subliminal messages FauxNews is using or what chemicals that they are pumping into the water supply that makes him so damn popular.

Then he opens his mouth and says something so overtly ignorant that I get a mini-temptation to throw something at him. Do you hear yourself?

Case in point, this lovely gem from Bill talking about dining with Al Sharpton at Sylvia’s in Harlem.

“There wasn’t one person in Sylvia’s who was screaming, ‘M-Fer, I want more iced tea.’ You know, I mean, everybody was — it was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn’t any kind of craziness at all.”

What?! Bill. Shut the f–k up and go sit down somewhere.

Ridiculous. This man has an average of 2-3 million people tuning in to hear his opinions each week.

So reportedly, MJ has been planning a comeback ~~for 15 years~~.

According to SOHH:

“Michael Jackson can’t leave the game alone. The King of Pop is reportedly plotting his return to music with a new album and a tour that may include his starlet sister, Janet.”

Uh-huh.

“This is something Michael is carefully planning,” a source close to Jackson told the Sun-Times. “I think the album is going to be amazing. From what I’ve heard, it will be as big as Thriller — and yet will take his music in a new direction to appeal to new, younger fans — but will still have those Michael touches his traditional fans love.”

As big as Thriller? You’re out of your ever-lovin’ mind.

But anyway, there was a track leaked that some are claiming is MJ’s new single. Take a listen for yourself.

According to TMZ, it’s this white guy ~~(but I thought Mike was white now)~~, Jason Malachi, who sounds shockingly similar to Mike.

You be the judge. I can definitely hear the resemblance, but could it also be Mike trying to gauge audience reactions?

*sigh* Britney… I was actually rooting for you… I mean anyone with a year as crappy as you have had ~~(even though you caused most of it)~~ deserves a little ray of sunshine. Say, for instance, people remembering a time when you were famous for entertaining rather than showing off your cooch or utlizing public restrooms in your bare feet.

I just want to know why she looks so bored? Trust me, we were just as bored if not more than you were. LOL at all the celebs’ reactions. They look just as confused as the rest of us.
